In 8th grade science, scholars are expected to learn about physics, chemistry, genetics and the environment but they are also encouraged to explore the ways science can help them face challenges in their daily lives. I strive to provide my scholars with a safe and engaging classroom environment where they are free to learn and explore. I love hearing my scholars say things like 'Class is over already?' or 'But I want to keep working on this.' My goal is to help foster a love of learning and help to develop life long learners.
