My Project

This project is designed to cultivate a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom culture where students feel supported and motivated. The snacks—such as candy bars, fruit snacks, and cookies—will not only help meet students' basic needs but will also be used as positive reinforcement and a fun way to foster healthy competition and increase classroom involvement. Whether it's through classroom games, participation incentives, or celebratory treats, these items will help keep students energized, motivated, and excited to engage in their learning.

The Polaroid camera and film will play a key role in developing our AVID family by capturing meaningful moments and creating lasting memories through a variety of experiences—whether it’s classroom team-building activities, college visits, community service projects, or other special events.

Students will take pride in seeing these snapshots displayed around the classroom, reminding them of their growth, shared experiences, and the strong bonds they've built together.

To support creativity and self-expression, we’re also requesting materials like clay, clay tools, and hot glue. These supplies will allow students to engage in hands-on art projects that promote collaboration, problem-solving, and emotional expression. Whether they’re building collaborative sculptures or working on personal creations, these tools give students the opportunity to explore their ideas and connect through artistic exploration.

My goal is to create a classroom space where students feel motivated, celebrated, and inspired to learn—not just through academics, but through shared experiences and joyful classroom culture. My students are truly special—they bring diverse perspectives, unique talents, and a vibrant energy to our learning community. They thrive when given opportunities to express themselves, collaborate, and feel a sense of belonging, and this project will help support that in every way.
