Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Last school year, our school celebrated an amazing event for the first time: PrideFest. One third of our entire school body attended the event.
We can't wait to make this year even better!
Our IS 93 Rams Rainbow Alliance is brainstorming more ideas to have an even bigger and better version this school year. As our club members collect their ideas, they are focusing on ways to allow each and every person a way to express themselves and their abilities.
For this project, students want to be able to have snacks available to them as they plan and get ready for the big event to come. We will be packing up gift bags, planning table directions, and putting supplies together and need snacks to be able to be fueled up. The snacks requested include ring pops, fruit snacks, cookies and chips!
