Our school educates over 600 students. Serving lunch to that many students means we eat lunch at 10:30 am! Luckily, there is time in our schedule for an afternoon snack.
Science has shown that an adequate diet helps fuel learning.
When the students are not thinking about being hungry, they are able to focus on their schoolwork. When brains have the calories they need, students are able to understand and retain the information they are learning. With your help, we will be able to have a daily afternoon snack before learning math!
