This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students meet after school for our FIRST Robotics Team meetings (the Mechanical Mustangs) and we need snacks. After school, the students need a boost of energy before we begin to design, fabricate, and program our robots. Some of the students like sweet treats (like Grandma's cookies).
Our robotics program has helped students go to school for engineering and other science-related fields; we are proud of our team members who learn to code JAVA, CAD in Solidworks, or fabricate on our Bridgeport mill or CNC lathe.
By having these snacks available, my students no longer need to run to the Dunkin or 7-Eleven, to grab a snack, and we can work immediately on our robotics projects.
Thank you so much for supporting the Mechanical Mustangs.
