This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are a 3rd grade dual language class in the heart of Flatbush, Brooklyn. We are hard-working, funny, caring, and smart, too. We have a long school day and we are in need of some snacks to help power us up for our work and school day. Did you know that more than 50% of families in our school have been identified as low income? We are asking for your help because we know just how important it is to do well in school but sometimes being hungry means that students could be low in energy and nobody wants that! We love our school and students. So, if you could help us reach our goal, we would really appreciate it!
