Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are at school from 7:00 am until 3:15 pm. Having a daily snack would increase the focus of my students during classroom instruction. Although lunch and breakfast are provided, the majority of my students still complain about being hungry for that long length of time in my classroom. Having a choice of a snack to enhance the focus in the learning environment will be very productive for each child. Just knowing that their hunger need is being met in the classroom serves as an academic benefit for the students. Can you imagine being at school for eight hours without a snack? This donation would serve as a major benefit for each student in my class.
