My Project
Having snacks available to help students engage in their work would be valuable to everyday learning. If you visit our classroom, without fail, you will hear students asking about food in one way or another. I can't expect my students to learn to read and write or add and subtract when their tummies are growling.
Offering snacks in my classroom will help boost energy, attitudes, and student engagement.
I have attempted to purchase snacks on my own for my class, but found it to be a bigger expense than I can handle. I want my class to be successful, and I believe snacks will provide them with the extra energy they need to focus.
