This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class is in need of snacks to fill the bellies of my Transitional Kindergarten students. Thankfully, at my school, my students receive free breakfast and lunch, however at 1:00 pm their bellies are starving for a snack. Transitional kindergarten is now 6 and 1/2 hours long and it is a long day for these young 5 year olds.

My class is in need of snacks to fill their bellies so they can make it until the end of the school day.

Without a full belly it is difficult for them to focus and learn.
