Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Recess is an important break in the school day, but for many students, it’s also a long stretch between breakfast and lunch. Providing a snack during recess gives kids the energy and focus they need to stay engaged in learning. Some students don’t eat breakfast and they can’t make it until lunch time. Having snacks available for them will help them make it until lunch time.
These snacks will offer students a variety of healthy snacks or snacks that will give them a bigger boost during their school day.
