This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Here at our school, my students come to the OT room at various times of the day and often times it is before lunch. They are always looking for a snack which I like to keep readily available for them!
We are looking for donations here in the OT room to help us provide snacks, treats, and rewards for the students that join us.
In the past, it has been super helpful and the students really appreciate it and also become very excited about it. It is a great incentive as well and keeps them pushing through all of their assignments. The students will also ask to take something to eat for later on in the day when they are hungry, which I provide to them as well.
