Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach math and science to two 5th-grade classes. Our ELA, Math, and Science exams are quickly approaching. In the past, I have seen students come to school without having breakfast. I'm looking to provide my 50 students with snacks before, during, and after testing each day to help them stay focused and energized.
The state exams are long and stressful.
My students need energy to stay focused and perform their best. Having a quick snack before a test will help them excel. I want to give my students the best opportunity to succeed on the state exams.
