My students are amazing!
But they are struggling during a pandemic and are having difficulty coping. They want to work hard and strive to succeed and participate every day! I have been creating prize and reward stations where students are receiving a prize for their hard work to boost their confidence and keep them working hard!
I am requesting a variety of candy and snacks for our rewards snack closet during Science STEM class.
Students can choose candy or a snack as a prize on days when they are trying their hardest. That keeps them motivated and happy coming to school each day!
It changes their entire mood to earn a prize for their hard work! We are a STEM school and also earn prizes in order to complete our assignments that deal with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics!
