Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Part of the Montessori program is an uninterrupted work cycle. Students in our Lower Elementary Montessori classrooms arrive at 9:15. Their uninterrupted Montessori work cycle begins at 9:35 and continues until 1:40, when they are scheduled for lunch. Over four hours is a long time for young children to go without a snack.

By providing students with snacks, our young scholars will be able to remain focused during their over four hour long morning work cycle.

This project will help to provide snacks for students in our multiage Lower Elementary classrooms.
