My Project

High schoolers need a snack in order to make it through the day till their scheduled lunch or dinner. Students in our building face food insecurity so being able to provide them with a basic necessity makes them feel safe and cared for. When feel safe and cared for students are more apt to learn.

Snacks like fruit snacks, cookies and crackers provide our students with the brain food they need to take in the challenging course work associated with high school.

When students don’t have to worry about their next meal they are able to open their mind up to the material being covered.
