This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teenagers need energy and energy can come from snacks. While teenagers aren’t the healthiest when it comes to their snacking, they do need sustenance in class to get their brains going sometimes and it’s okay to feed them what they like within moderation. These snacks will provide students with brain food, a pick-me-up, or maybe the only snack a student gets because not all of my kiddos are guaranteed three meals a day given my school’s low-income area. I would be eternally grateful if you would consider funding this project because my own personal budget doesn't always support buying the snacks myself. I do what I can when I can, though.
