As teachers, we understand the challenges our students face during state and district testing periods, and we believe that providing them with healthy snacks (when needed) can help sustain their energy levels, ensuring they remain focused and alert throughout the assessments. Making sure students basic needs are being met during testing is essential and one aspect that we can help them with during the school day is providing snacks. We are also seeking support for sugar-free gum and mints, as research suggests that these aids can enhance concentration and cognitive performance, contributing to a more productive testing experience.
By providing snacks, gum, and mints, we aim to create an atmosphere that fosters optimal learning conditions for our students during their testing sessions.
