Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students come to school to learn, but unfortunately there are often times that life outside of school can prevent learning. Our kids should consider school a safe place for learning which can help them meet their other basic needs.
Students that come to our classroom know that it is a place that they can grab a snack and settle in to learn.
These snacks that I can provide my students help them to see that their school cares about them in more ways than just their learning - but also their well-being.
