Snacks for Students

Help me give my students the basics so they can focus on learning! It is much harder to learn on an empty stomach, and many of my students face food insecurity at home.

My Project

I work in a title 1 school where many of my students come from homes facing food insecurities. I have a pantry for students who are hungry, and I try to stock it with as many healthier and nourishing options for students who may not have much food at home.

Middle schoolers are always hungry in general, but when there may not be consistent food available at home, they often rely on free meals at school and snacks to supplement.

Everyone knows that a student can't reach their full potential in learning when their basic needs are not met. I try my best to provide supplies, hygiene products, clothing, etc. for students. This project would greatly help me be able to make the other purchases with my own money. I would be forever thankful to have this project funded!
