it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Sixth graders start middle school scared, disoriented, and full of energy.
Our school serves a diverse group of students.
We are a Title I school and are always looking for ways to better support and motivate our students.
Our students are creative, expressive, friendly, and really value their interpersonal relationships. They need immediate feedback, attention, and a supportive environment. Some love sports, many enjoy memes, and all can achieve with the appropriate scaffolds.
My Project
Kids need to eat, which really is not news to anyone. Right now, my district is still looking for nutrition workers to help us be able to serve breakfast at the middle school I work at.
Hungry kids tend to have a trickier time making it through the day.
Many students have food allergies, which necessitates providing allergy-friendly snacks. Kids need food to grow, learn, pay attention, and make it through the day. Help me provide them individually wrapped, allergy-friendly snacks to help give them a chance to succeed in school.
