Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will benefit students that stay for after school clubs, with a focus on those that are dedicated members of our school's Esports and Computer Science clubs. These students arrive as early as 7:30 in the morning and often stay on campus until 6:00 in the evening.
By joining afterschool clubs students are continuing their learning journeys, and with their days being so long it can be hard to stay focused and energized.
By providing snacks like granola bars, fruit snacks, and bottled water, we can support their health, attention, and motivation. These snacks will not only help them stay nourished but also show them that their efforts are seen and appreciated.
Many of our younger students come in to the club hours saying they are hungry, help me have snakcs for them so that they can focus on problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and being their best.
