Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school serves a diverse group of students. We are a Title I school and are always looking for ways to better support and motivate our students.
Our students are creative, expressive, friendly, and really value their interpersonal relationships.
Some love sports, many enjoy memes, and all can achieve with the appropriate scaffolds and motivation.
My Project
As many of you know, students (and families) have hectic mornings sometimes. Eating breakfast can fall by the wayside when everyone's rushing out the door to get to school and work. Food allergies are a bit more common now, so allergy friendly foods and snacks are a must.
Please help my students start the day off with something in their stomachs, even when they're having a somewhat hectic start to their day.
By now, students know where to find my snack cart in the morning. They pick up what looks appetizing and move on with their day. Allergy friendly snacks are not always the cheapest.
