My Project

As the Student Success Coordinator at Juniper Elementary, I am requesting funds for snacks for students for two reasons. Many of our families are food insecure and as a result children are hungry during the day. This is a basic need in the hierarchy of needs in terms of success. When a child's body is depleted, learning is a struggle.Also, we have many students who become dysregulated during the school day, and snacks are one of the ways our support team uses for taking breaks, resetting, and regulating.

It is incredible what a big difference a little snack can have in terms of shifting the dynamic, fueling learning, and creating a feeling of belonging and support.

Please help us help our children learn, grow, and thrive by donating to our snack supply.
