Help me give my students peace of mind and comfort by keeping their bellies full. The most expensive item in my cart is a 120 count snack package which includes a variety of bagged chips, crackers and cookies!

My Project

Nothing is harder than trying to learn something new while having hunger pains in your stomach. At Francis Marion School, in Marion Alabama, I work with scholars who have grown up in one of the most poverty stricken communities in the South. Most don't have much to eat at home and their school lunch is both early in the day and is not that filling- students are asking for more food an hour later.

On any given day I have many many students who come into my room asking if I have any food- some are students I have in class, some are not.

Whether the child is my student or not I do my best to feed them, but that takes a lot snacks! I'm asking for snacks to give to students during class and for their hour long bus rides home. I promise that through your donation, you will be directly placing food into a child's hand.

My students and I thank you for your continued support, words cannot express our gratitude for the last series of donations we received. From the bottom of our hearts, and thank you, thank you thank you!
