My Project
I am so lucky this year to teach such an amazing group of students! What makes it even better, is I get to do after-school tutoring with a group of 3rd Graders from our school. These students come from my class and a couple others and have two extra hours each week to continue learning. This tutoring program is done through the ESOL Department, which means all of the students are English Language Learners (ELL). Sometimes, our ELL students need just that EXTRA amount of help to continue learning and be the best they can be. This tutoring program helps them get there!
The students in my tutoring group LOVE learning, but need a break to eat a snack, drink some water and recharge to continue learning.
Although they have all of the energy and motivation in the world, a snack and some chocolate treats gives them that extra boost. They love our snack time and because they are such hard workers, they get those chocolate coins at the end of our sessions. They are such great students who love to learn and I am so lucky to be able to teach them!
