This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
What will the Bronx be like in 30 years? At this 9-14 software engineering high school in the Bronx, our loving and incredible senior class is ready to respond with their community action research!
In the 12th grade Civics class, we challenge each other to take action "beyond the ballot," exploring a range of ways to participate in creating a more equitable and just NYC!
My Project
Seniors want to feel special and be honored for pursuing their 12th year of education. The ONE thing they consistently claim would make their days brighter and more encouraging is to share more snacks.
With this Donors Choose, we can support boosting our community building and uplifting 12th grader spirits through weekly snack days for 15+ weeks!
Support our efforts to increase joy and open up hearts and minds with something as simple as a snack. Help give my students some delicious sweet snacks for when they need and extra boost!
