This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Deciding our next steps in life can be stressful and challenging!
High school seniors deserve snacks and care items to feel nurtured on their path to adulthood. Snacks for Senior Advising will support 12th graders through their postsecondary college and career application process.
Additionally, seniors will enjoy our student-led cooking unit of study with the hot plate. This will support our understanding of meal preparation for self- and community-care.
We believe in joyful and celebratory classrooms where young adults can make careful decisions about their futures alongside the loving support of snacks and care items.
