It seems like every day, I have a couple of scholars who ask for a snack. Sometimes they have missed breakfast - sometimes they might have not eaten enough at lunch - and sometimes they are just a growing kid who is hungry a lot!
The families of my scholars do not have the financial means to provide snacks.
Having a good supply of shelf-stable snacks available for my scholars to have whenever they need one is very helpful but can get expensive for me. Hunger is something I don't want my scholars to have when they are in school.
