This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach at a school where most of our students come from low income families. Throughout our day, we have time for a snack break. Most of my students come to school without a snack and they do not have a way to get one. I supply snacks for my students but it gets pricey and sometimes I still run out of snacks after just purchasing them. My students work better when they are not hungry. They can focus better and they are in a better mood. My students are very smart and sweet I want to ensure that their basic needs are met!
