Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students have the biggest appetites! Although we offer breakfast in the classroom daily, my students often come late to school and miss breakfast. Other times they don't like the breakfast we provide, and honestly, I can't blame them for that! Lunchtime is after 12:00 noon, leaving my students with nothing in their bellies for most of the school day.

Often the students don't have food at home, or they are rushed and don't have a chance to eat.

I would like to have a plethora of healthy snacks on hand for students who may need one.
