Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have set out to create a snack cart that will offer readily available snacks to my Pre-K students and their peers.

Our classroom's snack cart will be a model for other Pre-K classes to follow, as we help students focus on their education without the burden of hunger.

To maintain our cart, I will reach out to community partners, but I want to show proof of our initiative with a fully stocked cart that addresses the pressing issue of food insecurity among my students and their peers. It is my belief that no student should have to endure the challenges of hunger while trying to excel academically.
