My Project
Providing snacks as part of our PBIS incentive program encourages positive behavior by offering students a tangible, immediate reward. When students know their good behavior—such as following school rules, staying on task, or helping others—can lead to a small, enjoyable reward like a snack, they are more likely to stay engaged and motivated.
Improved behavior leads to fewer classroom disruptions, creating a better learning environment for everyone.
Students who are focused, well-behaved, and positively reinforced are more likely to participate in lessons, complete assignments, and develop a stronger connection to school.
Snacks are also a practical incentive that many students appreciate, especially those who may come to school hungry or lack consistent access to food at home. In this way, snack incentives not only promote positive behavior but can also help meet basic needs, allowing students to concentrate better and learn more effectively.
