My students are hands down, the best seven year old children you will ever meet. He are so blessed and happy to have in person learning this whole school year! These kids deserve the world!
My students come to me on a huge variety of learning levels, classroom needs, and home backgrounds.
We will push that aside and become one big learning family, who helps and supports one another all day and year long, in person or virtually. They truly are a blessing to be with every day.
My students come to school at 8:30am, eat lunch at 12:40pm and their day does not end until 3:50pm. That gives them over 4 hours in the morning before lunch time! As their bellies start growling around 10:30, their concentration and motivation decreases. I try to make sure I always have safe snacks on hand for them, although that quickly adds up throughout the year. We take a ten minute break to have snacks and use the restroom around 11:00 everyday. After this the children are ready to rock and roll again and finish their day strong.
Taking a quick snack break truly helps my students focus and continue to do their best in the classroom.
The snacks I requested would last us all year long and would be a huge help.
