This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are all attending a Title I school in Northern Virginia. Food insecurity is a real issue with a lot of my students and providing them with a snack so they can go about their day and learn is important!

Your mind can't function the same if you are hungry!

This is why providing snacks to kids each day is so important. A lot of students know they can come to me if they are hungry and doing a campaign like this helps my wallet as well since I go through close to 100 snacks a week sometimes!
