My Project

Trying to learn with an empty stomach is hard to do! Healthy snacks help manage students' hunger and boost nutrition. Snacks can keep them from getting so hungry that they get cranky. Unfortunately, majority of my student population come from low-income households. Providing snacks makes the difference between students learning and being successful or not being successful. It is a simple request that will make a huge impact on my students. They will be able to focus and keep their stamina up for the entire day.

Students who regularly eat nutrient-rich foods also display more efficient problem-solving skills, greater fact comprehension, and stronger mental recall.
