Help me give my students animal crackers, pretzels, cookies, Rice Krispies Treats, Teddy Grahams, candy bars, mini pops, gummy bears, hard candies, and fruit snacks.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting a variety of small snacks for my students to eat during morning recess. Our school starts in the early morning at 7:42. Lunch is not until 11:20, and my students get hungry between coming to school and lunch.
I want my students to focus on classroom lessons and not on their stomachs.
Except for the pretzels, all snacks are individually wrapped and are in small portions. Snacks include cookies, crackers, mixed fruit treats, gummy bears, mini pops, Rice Krispies, and small candies. Most of these snack packs have a variety of flavors and different types of crackers or cookies that students can choose. These 600 plus snacks will keep their stomachs full for the remainder of the year. Won't you help my first-graders fuel their brain so they can solve math problems and become confident, fluent readers? Thank you for your consideration.
