This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As students with a wide range of disabilities, and come from low-income homes, students do not always have food or snacks to eat. I know how hard it is to focus and try to learn on an empty stomach, so I always try to have snacks in my classroom available if students are hungry.

My goal for this project is to have enough snacks in the classroom to get us through the rest of the school year.

The students know that they can come into the class and grab a snack before heading to their next class to make sure they are not hungry and are in the best mindset to learn.
