This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our high school students often are roaming the hallways trying to find friends and staff who have snacks. Because many of our students experience food insecurity, we want to provide snacks in the classroom so that students can meet their hunger needs while also learning.
We will prioritize delivering snacks to teachers new to our school so they can create welcoming environments in their classrooms for students.
Help us give students brain food so they can make new neural connections and be able to remember their learning from the day.
