My Project
I teach in a school where most students' families are low-income. We have students who are not able to bring or buy a snack. It gets expensive to provide snacks for these students but I cannot let them go without. I have a parent who donates but it would be nice for donors to have the opportunity to help out as well so it would take the financial responsibility off of two people.
When students are given a snack it also makes them not feel left out when they are with their friends. Students who don't have snacks typically will beg another student to share or give them money. I can't stand to see a child go without.
Please help me provide a snack for these students.
