My Project
My students are a part of a Title I school. This means the majority are low-income families. Food can be a worry for kids and hungry bellies never learn. I would like to have an array of snacks for my students to pick from so that no matter the day, they won't go hungry and can focus on their schooling. Providing chips, crackers, and cookies will allow enough variety without overwhelming them. Having a cart to show off the options will lead to independence as well as opinion forming. Storing their water bottles will promote the healthy drinking of water with their snacks.
