Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The goal of this project is to provide students with snacks after school and during Saturday Intervention. Students come to my class looking exhausted and hungry. Giving them snacks will fuel them physically and mentally. My intervention classes are : MWTH 3 days a week from 3:15pm to 5:15 PM and Saturday class is from 8-12. The assets they bring with them are their enthusiasm for learning and their desires to read, write and do math for their skills to be on grade level.
Currently, we are working on designs.
Designing sneakers in collaboration with the Computer class at our school so we can make a 3D version of the shoes using the 3D machine.
