My Project
The goal of this project is to give my students access to snacks and food at any point in the day. I have many kids in lower income homes where food is not as easily accessible as it should be. I have been providing snacks out of my own pocket but it is getting very expensive with how many students need them. We would like cookies, crackers and Rice Krispie Treats.
I would love to give my students access to snacks at any point because I know some may genuinely need them to make it through a given day.
My hope is that by getting this projected funded, students will feel comfortable to ask for food and be given in without any conditions. We are also in need of markers and post-it notes.
