This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My amazing theater students spend almost everyday after school in theater rehearsal from 3:30-6. The only food in walking distance is McDonalds, Starbucks, and a donut shop, which is pricey and definitely not healthy.
I was gifted a microwave and a small fridge and I’d like to provide healthier snacks and small meals for the students during the long rehearsals.
Almost of of our students take public transportation home, so they often don’t get home in time for dinner. I want to make sure they have a meal at school.
