Help me give my students snacks when they are not able to get food from home.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Vich's classroom raised $225

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in a Title I school where the majority of the students qualify for FREE lunch. Many of these students are hungry throughout the day and unable to concentrate because the hunger takes over. Taking good care of these students are the responsibility of the teacher.
Providing snacks to my students help them stay engaged during the school day.
High school starts early and many do not have time to eat breakfast before heading to the bus stop, and too many students in the school makes the lines very long in the morning and during lunch.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
