Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is a small public art based school in the Bronx, NY. With such a long day (8:15-5:30) our students get so hungry throughout the day. Even though 100% of our students qualify for free-lunch, one meal a day is not enough to keep their energy up!
Please help me provide them with snacks to support their continued success so they can concentrate and work hard.
Hunger makes success difficult and students knowing they can come to guidance for a snack makes all the difference. Thank you very much!
