My Project
So many of the students in our school come hungry, both in the morning and then again mid-afternoon. They are offered breakfast and lunch, but with many of our students, that is all they have in their day. The items in my cart are all healthy snacks that will help our kids make it through the day.
When a child is hungry, they have a hard time learning.
It is so important to me to give them options for a snack when they need it. Along with having a hard time learning, students who are hungry, also have more behaviors and become "hangry" if you will.
Your donation of snacks for students in our school will make a huge difference for each of them.
