This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students this year are the sweetest kids ever! This group has grown up together since kindergarten. They are a rambunctious bunch who work hard but seems like they have growing bodies and are always hungry. They're usually starving between 11 and lunch time which is twelve o'clock.
I am asking for some snacks to hold them over til lunch.
These snacks are individual packed small bags of chips which I can just pass out without having to worry about hygiene. Everyone can have their own and no one has to share. I don't have to pass out plates or napkins or even use bowls. I can focus on teaching while they munch for a few minutes in class. It's something small and won't fill up their bellies.
