My Project
I have the privilege of teaching 9-12th grade Reading Support to students struggling to meet grade level benchmarks in Reading. Reading is critical to these students success not only in each of their classes, but in life outside of school.
My students come from a diverse background and often feel stigmatized by their inclusion in Reading Intervention, especially at the High School level.
Because of this I work hard to build a strong classroom community, and being able to offer snacks to struggling students has proven to grow trust and strengthen our bond as classmates.
Each of my students is unique and deserving of success - thank you in advance for your contribution to their learning and overall well-being!
