My Project
My students come from low income households that can't always afford snacks for snack time. Many of the children do not bring snacks and they are very hungry.
The majority of my students qualify for free lunch.
Good nutrition helps students show up at school prepared to learn. Students are likely to have fewer absences and attend class more frequently. Studies show that malnutrition leads to behavior problems. Many of my students are hungry throughout the day which cause headaches and interferes with their learning. Please help give my students the opportunity to be full, happy and ready to learn!
