This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are third graders from the Bronx, N.Y. My students are bright-eyed and eager to learn. We are a heterogeneous classroom with almost half being special needs children.
I try to make each day a fun learning experience for each child.
Each child learns differently and at different paces. To be able to make the classroom an inviting, comfortable place to learn is my goal. I want my students to want to come to school and want to learn. It is important to leave some type of impression on your students to set the stepping stones for a positive, productive future.
My Project
I am requesting some snacks to keep on hand in the classroom. Often times students may forget their snack or just don't have one. There are also times a child might still be hungry and needs an extra snack.
In this project, I am also asking for water to keep in the classroom for the kids.
I have also request some ice tea to keep during lunch time.
We need water because kids forget to bring their own and we keep them on hand for emergencies. As teachers we always need to be prepared.
